For around $23 per month, less than the cost of a few trendy cups of coffee, you and your child gain access to a world of educational experiences, life-long memories, & friendships. When compared to the cost of sports and many other activities, there is no doubt that Scouting delivers great value to its members!
All Scout Troops have fees which change annually. In our Troop, most costs and fees can be offset by our fundraising opportunities throughout the year and other available scholarship funds. Please contact Troop 6 leadership for details.

The Uniform
The Uniform
The uniform is a method of delivering the Scouting program. It shows that you are a member of a team and give the kids a sense of belonging. Each grade has a specific uniform for their program. You can purchase these items at the Scout Shop, either in person or online.
Our Troop encourages each scout to purchase:
Class A Shirt
Shorts
Belt
All other elements (hat, neckerchief, slide, socks) are optional.

The Handbook
This handbook is for all boys in Scouts BSA and comes in a spiral-bound design.
Scouts BSA Handbook, 14th Edition for Boys
This is included as part of your Troop dues when joining. We recommend getting a Scouts BSA Handbook Cover to keep the handbook in good shape.
Other Outings & Activities
Other Outings & Activities
There are other activities throughout the year that we have the opportunity to attend such as overnight camp outs, field trips, summer camps and sporting events that may have additional costs associated with them.
Sometimes these adventures aren't covered by our annual dues, but we try to keep the fees as low as possible. You can apply any fundraising money your child has earned towards these outings. These costs differ based on several factors. Detailed information can be provided by the Troopleadership.
